This site represents a cyberspace Peace Building that houses information and activities so young people can build peace. It is the home of the Young General Assembly, an international organization planned, developed and established by Charter by young people worldwide themselves to serve as a respected voice for young people under 18 in international affairs and to unite young people throughout the globe in responsible action through the project plans designed at annual Young General Assembly Sessions. As you enter the site you will be on the ground floor where you will find the Information Desk with directories for different types of information and activities and a variety of rooms to visit. The First Floor contains offices which will give you information about the Young General Assembly. The Second Floor has all the offices concerning the Young General Assembly Member Organizations. The Third Floor offices will tell you about Hear the Children Day, an international day proposed by children and celebrated in many countries since 1995. The Fourth Foor is the United Nations Resource Center and contains United Nations documents summarized by children and links to web sites with information about the United Nations. The top floor, the Fifth Floor, is the Kool Kafeteria where you will find interactive activities. The Young General Assembly development has been coordinated by PEACEWAYS. You will find information about this organization on the First Floor in the Corporate Office.
